Queen Latifah announces a casting call to promote her new makeup line “The Covergirl Queen Collection”. Everyday women of color from ages 18-48 can be casted to appear in a Covergirl Queen Collection ad for Ebony’s June issue. Queen Latifah will also be judging the online search and will choose 5 ladies for the shoot.
Reports confirm that Britney Spears had slipped out of L.A. without being spotted by those assigned to watch over her residence after her release from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last Saturday. Britney was seen at the Daily Grill in Palm Desert, California between 10 a.m. to 4p.m. Britney was hospitalized last Friday after a standoff with the L.A.P.D.

She seems to have a thing for frilly dresses, but this time, took it a step further with a large dress that looks too much like a wedding gown for our taste.
Most of her fans say she is and she’s not letting them down with the beginning of her Circus Album tour which launched in New Orleans to the delight of many of her fans. Her energy was there amidst many skimpily dressed dancers and acrobats but some say she was kinda’ lip syncing a lot. Whatever they say, some say, “It’s the greatest comeback ever!”, well hope the gal who said that was proud of her when she was in rehab, sporting the baldy top and more from her well publicized private life. many were delighted and many were, well saying it’s the same old Brit with her class acts and many more.
Her life has been a blast from every angle, a child star that started out as a young performer for the Mickey Mouse Club where she first appeared as part of the group of youngsters who graced the screens way back.
She’s all grown by all means and she is on the comeback tour to promote her new Circus album. She has been loved, hated, scorned and criticized for her young life, Is She Really Back? Only the fans can answer that and with an ever public life, that’ll be known shortly as she tries to recover from her stints with the more mundane problems of life, reality.

In what has been the most productive year in Hollywood History, seems everybody has had a baby from JLO, Jessica Alba, Angelina, Halle Berry, Jennifer Garner and many more have babies gracing their lives.

Protesters, thousands of them expressed anger over California’s decision to ban gay marriage. Some of Hollywood’s big stars came to protest the banning too. Proposition 8 as it was technically called, left many dismayed such names as Rosie O’Donnell, Lance Bass and Wanda Sykes. They went out to protest on the gay marriage ban last Wednesday. Some stars expressed their anger and discontentment online like Madonna, Ellen Degeneres, Melissa Etheridge and Rose McGowan.Patricia Clarkson, James Cromwell, Sean Penn and Angelica Huston also supported the more than 2000 protesters outside a Mormon temple. Other stars, anrigly lamented that they were not going to pay their taxes because they were not treated as a citizen of California.

Britney Spears’ “driving without a license” case ended without the jury’s verdict for the second day. The jurors left the court after being deadlocked. That brings to three, the number of times they voted since Friday. The jurors had failed to reach a unanimous decision. It all came out with 10 to 2 unspecified which way. After lunch, the jury looked gloomy and was telling the judge that they were quite pessimistic if they will still be able to reach an agreement. The judge, James Steele gave them more time to deliberate and take a fourth vote. During the course of the trial, there was no attempt to mention the accident that eventually led to her charges.
You may have seen him in films like Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid,with Robert Redford, Cool Hand Luke, The Color Of Money & most recently, the 2002 film Road To Perdition with Tom Hanks.
You may have also heard him bringing to life the character of Doc Hudson from the Disney-Pixar movie Cars. He was Paul Newman (1925-2008), one or our most beloved iconic screen stars. Just this week, he died at home due to complications arising from cancer. He was one of the most respected and admired celebrity, not only for his sterling performances and rugged good looks, but also because of the strong moral and civic responsibility he epitomized in the giddy world of Hollywood.
He and actress Joanne Woodward, is hailed as one of the most stellar examples of marriage, having achieved 50 years together, in a world where marriage is often transitory and fleeting. He was also a genuine philanthropist, founding Newman’s Own, a line of food products that donates all proceeds of the sale to charity. He will be sadly missed.
